The Liberty Regional Wastewater District (LRWD) Board of Trustees will hold a Special Public Meeting jointly with the Delaware County Regional Wastewater District (DCRWD) Board of Trustees on Tuesday, June 11th, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Cafetorium of the Selma Elementary School in Selma, Indiana. The agenda shall include, but not be limited to, 1) The terms and conditions of the current inter-local agreement between LRWD and DCRWD regarding the possible building of a treatment plant which would eliminate the need to utilize the Muncie Sanitary District (MSD) to treat sewage flows from the Districts and any proposed modifications thereof; 2) The efficacy of modifying DCRWD’s current contract with Commonwealth Engineering to include LRWD as a party to said contract; 3) The status of any settlement negotiations with MSD and either District and how any future negotiations shall be conducted; 4) The methods by which the Districts plans shall be conveyed to their respective customers and affected constituents.
